Today May 22 we celebrate Blessed Humility of Faenza who was a Christian recluse and abbess.
Blessed Humility of Faenza with the consent of her husband lived as a recluse for twelve years.
Later, and with the permission of the Bishop Blessed Humility of Faenza, he built a monastery of the Order of Vallombrosa of which was its abbess.
Blessed Humility of Faenza died in Florence, Italy, on May 22, 1310.
Pope Clement XI beatified her in 1720.
There is no more information about the life and work of Beata Humildad de Faenza, although what is certain is that her celebration takes place on the day May 22nd.
