Football fans will be able to enter Qatar during the FIFA World Cup without needing match tickets, as long as they are invited by a Hayya Card or Fan ID holder, in addition to paying a minimum fee, the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy (SC).

Previously, it had been announced that only holders of tickets for a World Cup match could enter Qatar during the sporting event, however due to the demand for tickets and interest in the country’s entertainment offer, the authorities will allow more followers of la joust enjoy the atmosphere of the tournament with friends and family.

Through the “Hayya With Me” option, approved cardholders can share the invitation with up to three additional people. These guests will also be able to request their Hayya card; Remember that to enter the country during the World Cup, you must have a Hayya Card.

Travelers who receive the invitation will have to pay a fee of 500 QAR, approximately 137 dollars, to process the Hayya Card.

Also remember that Hayya Card holders can use public transport for free. The Doha Metro will operate from 6am to 3am (Saturday to Thursday) and from 9am to 3am on Fridays.
