Disney’s Fairy Tale Wedding, by Allure Bridals, and Disney World, presented the 2024 collection of wedding dresses that, for the first time, includes models inspired by some of the movie villains.
With a mix of sophisticated style and touches of fantasy, the collection includes dresses inspired by Ursula, Maleficent, the Evil Queen and Jafar. Each dress evokes themes from Disney stories and highlights iconic details and colorful accents from each of the characters’ looks. All four styles are now available in black or ivory, starting at $2,000
The Ursula-inspired dress features a mermaid silhouette with matching embroidered trim on the corset. Mimicking Ursula’s dramatic style, the dress is available in ivory or black, with detachable sheer sleeves that have detailing on the cuffs.
With the Maleficent dress, brides can opt for a fitted dress in shades of black and green. The dress is decorated with a shiny green velvet and delicate lace applications overlaid on a black organza fabric. On the other hand, the ivory version offers chiffon lace details that give it a softer touch.
The Evil Queen’s dress from Snow White and the Seven Dwarves is decorated with linear lace, 3D floral embellishments, and beads and sequins delicately placed on tulle. The sheath silhouette sees a sweetheart neckline leading to a corset with a pointed finish and eye-catching embroidery. Available in black, ivory or gold, the dress is complemented by a ruffled fabric for added elegance.
The Jafar-inspired dress is available in a subtle ivory or bold black; It features a plunging neckline reminiscent of Jafar’s notable necklace, accented by his own collar made from satin fabric. Adding a touch of sophistication, the corset is designed with a masculine touch and is paired with slightly puffed long sleeves with buttoned cuffs.
In addition, the 2024 collection includes a total of 18 dresses inspired by Disney princesses: Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Rapunzel, Snow White and Tiana.
The 18 dresses, two models for each princess, are decorated with countless details and innovative fabrics, including a piece made of shiny tulle characteristic of a dress inspired by Princess Jasmine and a fantastic lace design on a soft satin fabric to decorate a Rapunzel inspired style. A Cinderella-inspired ball gown features an exclusive platinum color with Chantilly lace, metallic reverse and unique beaded lace appliqués. For those looking to capture the spirit of the Jazz Age, the look inspired by Tiana emphasizes a glamorous style, sparkling with thousands of beads and sequins.
Dresses inspired by Disney princesses are available in sizes 0 to 30, starting at $1,799 USD, and those inspired by Disney villains are available starting at $2,000 USD and can be purchased at authorized stores in Disney Fairy Tale Weddings Collection.
