A trip to Mérida is to encounter endless flavors and it seems impossible to propose new gastronomic experiences, however, the chef Maycoll Calderon decided to venture into the restaurant Cradle.

Located in the Wayam Mundo Imperial hotel, Cuna, in the words of its creator, is “honest cuisine” and through top quality ingredients, with the highest standards of preparation, it offers a menu that rescues the best of Yucatecan food, with a interesting international fusion.

A few weeks ago, we were able to enjoy their dishes in a restaurant that stands out for its open kitchen and a cozy dining room that allows it to be the perfect setting for a delicious meal, accompanied by talks and discoveries.

What do we order at Cuna?

We started with the appetizers that consisted of appetizers in the center to share:

Hummus, pita bread, paprika, parsley and pure honey

Crispy rice, fresh tuna, sriracha mayonnaise, soy and honey

The main course was a homemade Short Pasta, creamy with lemon, roasted sweet potato, mushrooms and Parmesan cheese.

Finally, dessert consisted of a Cheese Pie, vanilla ice cream, meringue and more cheese.

Where: Av. Colón 508, García Ginerés, 97070 Mérida, Yuc.

Precio: $$
