Ingredients
1 can of canned corn
1/2 (half) liter of milk
salt to taste
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 heaping tablespoon of butter
2 minced garlic cloves
Black pepper
1 can of corn to cook with the cream beaten in the blender (optional)
Directions
- In a blender, add 1 can of canned corn (without the water);
- Add half a liter of milk;
- Add salt to taste;
- Add 1 tablespoon of cornstarch (or unleavened wheat flour);
- Beat everything;
- In a pan over low heat, add 1 full tablespoon of butter;
- Add 2 cloves of minced garlic;
- Add the creamed corn to the pan;
- Add 1 pinch of black pepper;
- Add 1 can of corn without the water (optional);
- Mix until it thickens (when it starts to bubble, stir for another 1 minute);
- Your cream of corn is ready!
