Ingredients
2 large or 3 small eggs
2 cups of flour (wheat)
1 cup (tea) milk
1 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon of corn starch
1 tablespoon(s) baking powder
1 teaspoon of panettone essence
1/2 cup of oil of your choice
50 grams of candied fruit
50 grams of raisins
Directions
- Beat the eggs well in a bowl, add the sugar and beat more.
Add the oil and stir.
Then add the milk, the essence of panettone and stir again.
Gradually add the sifted flour, mix well and set aside. - In a container place the candied fruits, raisins, cornstarch and mix well.
Finally add the yeast to the dough, mix until dissolved and place half of the dough in a greased cake tin.
Distribute half of the fruits, put the rest of the dough and then the rest of the fruits on top. - Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180º₢ for approximately 30 to 40 minutes, or until golden on the outside and dry on the inside when you insert a toothpick and it comes out clean.
- Wait for the Christmas cake to cool to room temperature, unmold onto a plate or plate and the recipe is ready to serve.
