Fraternizing with friends and family at the end of the year will be even more delicious with this Christmas cookie recipe!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams of wheat flour

  • 300 grams of butter

  • 200 grams of sugar

  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar (16 grams each)

  • 4 egg yolks

  • 1 tablespoon of rum

  • Rind of a lemon

Directions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the flour, butter, sugar, egg yolks, rum, lemon zest and vanilla sugar. 
    Knead the ingredients well with your hands until you form a smooth dough and leave it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  • Divide the dough into two halves and roll them out with a rolling pin on a clean, smooth, floured surface. 
    Cut out Christmas-themed cookie molds, then place the cookies side-by-side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Place the cookies in a preheated oven at 200º₢ and bake them for approximately 10 to 12 minutes, or until they start to brown slightly.
  • Carefully remove the cookies from the oven and allow them to cool to room temperature. 
    Remove them from the pan with a spatula and the Christmas cookies recipe is ready.
