Ingredients

  • Dough
  • 500 ml of milk

  • 4 whole eggs

  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter

  • 2 and 1/2 cups of wheat flour

  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar

  • 1 cup (tea) cocoa powder

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • Filling
  • 1 box of condensed milk

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • 3 boxes of strawberries

  • 3 tablespoons sour cream

  • 3 tablespoons powdered milk

  • Coverage
  • 150 grams of milk chocolate

  • 1/2 can of cream

  • Strawberries to decorate

Directions

  • In a container put the melted butter, sugar and mix well. 
    Add the eggs and mix well, add the vanilla, part of the flour and mix well. 
    Then add the cocoa powder and mix.
  • Add a little milk and stir again. 
    Add the rest of the milk and flour alternating and keep mixing well. 
    Add the baking powder and mix until dissolved. 
    Divide the dough into two halves and pour each of them into a 20 cm diameter mold.
  • Bake each dough in a preheated oven at 200º₢ for approximately 40 to 50 minutes. 
    Remove and set aside to cool at room temperature.
  • For the filling, put condensed milk, powdered milk and butter in a pan. 
    Stir non-stop over medium heat until the mixture thickens and reaches the consistency of brigadier. 
    Turn off the heat, add the cream, stir very well and set aside.
  • Unmold the cake masses and remove the tops with a bread knife. 
    Cut one of the doughs in half and set aside. 
    Add chopped strawberries to the filling and mix well to make it uniform.
  • Put the whole cake dough on a plate or platter and spread some of the stuffing over it. 
    Place one of the dough halves on top and spread more stuffing over it. 
    Finally put the other half of the dough on top.
  • Leave the covered cake in the refrigerator overnight, or for at least 10 to 12 hours. 
    To make the frosting, melt the chocolate in a bain-marie or in the microwave every 30 seconds, add the cream and mix very well.
  • Finish by spreading the ganache frosting over the cake, decorate with sliced ​​or chopped strawberries to taste and the chocolate strawberry cake is ready to serve.Chocolate Cake With Strawberry
