The Chilean Ministry of Health eliminated its Protected Borders Plan after the World Health Organization declared the end of the Public Health Emergency of International Importance (EPII) due to SARS-CoV2.

With this action, travelers entering Chile will no longer have to present a PCR test, a vaccination certificate against Covid-19, and also a random test will no longer be carried out.

However, the authorities recommend that locals and travelers maintain the self-care measures learned in the pandemic, such as frequent hand washing, ventilation of closed spaces, and the use of a mask when presenting respiratory symptoms.

Likewise, you are invited to keep up to date on vaccination against Covid-19 and Influenza.
