- Chicken
1 whole chicken
1 chopped onion
4 cloves of minced garlic
1 tablespoon of oil
1 tablespoon of salt
1 chicken broth tablet
Color to taste
Saffron to taste
Oregano to taste optional
Parsley and chives to taste optional
1 liter of hot water
- Rice
2 tablespoons of oil
1/2 chopped onion
2 cloves of minced garlic
2 cups of rice
1/2 can of corn
1/2 can of peas
Chicken cooking water
Directions
- Chicken
- In a pressure cooker, add 2 tablespoons of oil;
- Add 1 chopped onion;
- Add 4 minced garlic cloves;
- Let it brown;
- Add 1 whole chicken cut into pieces;
- Add juice of half a lemon;
- Add half a tablespoon of salt;
- Add 1 chicken broth tablet;
- Add some paprika;
- Add turmeric to taste;
- Add oregano to taste;
- Mix well and let it cook for approximately 5 minutes;
- Add 1 liter of hot water;
- Cover and let it cook for 30 minutes;
- Rice
- In a pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil;
- Add half a chopped onion;
- Add 2 cloves of minced garlic;
- Add half a tablespoon of salt;
- Let it brown;
- Add 2 cups of washed and drained rice;
- Let it braise;
- Add half a can of corn;
- Add half a can of peas;
- Add parsley, sausage and chives;
- Mix;
- Add the chicken with the cooking water;
- Mix well;
- Cover the pan and let it cook until the water dries up;
- Your chicken is ready!
