Ingredients
6 chicken drumsticks
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
- In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
- Place the chicken drumsticks in a large bowl and pour the olive oil mixture over them. Use your hands to rub the mixture evenly onto the drumsticks, ensuring they are well coated.
- Arrange the drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between them.
- Bake the drumsticks in the preheated oven for about 35-45 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. To ensure they are fully cooked, you can use a meat thermometer to check that the internal temperature has reached 165°F (75°C).
- Once cooked, remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
- Serve the chicken drumsticks hot, with optional lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the chicken for extra flavor.
