From September 14 to 18, the Great Mexican Fiesta will take place in Plaza Garibaldi, where attendees can enjoy mariachis and many more surprises, announced the Ministry of Culture of Mexico City.
The Great Mexican Festival seeks to honor the great cultural and historical wealth of the country through live mariachi music, folkloric dance shows, workshops, shows, Mexican exhibitors, pulque tastings, among other activities.
In addition, through this event it is sought to publicize the history of the mariachi, which is of great importance in Mexican culture, in fact, in 2011 it was declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
The Great Mexican Fiesta will take place from September 14 to 18 from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Garibaldi Square is located in the Historic Center of Mexico City, on the Lázaro Cárdenas Central Axis and Allende, Republic of Peru and Republic of Ecuador streets.
The event will be outdoors and attendees are invited to follow the recommendations of the authorities, such as the correct use of face masks.
