Ingredients
About 1.5 liters of water
700 grams of cassava
150 grams of chopped bacon
150 grams of chopped pepperoni
100 grams of kale chopped into thin strips
2 minced garlic cloves
2 tablespoons chopped onion
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
Directions
- Peel and cut the mandioquinha into slices and place in a pan with water until completely covered.
Cook until tender, drain and transfer to a blender.
Add cooking water halfway, beat well and set aside. - Fry the diced bacon in a pan until golden, stirring constantly.
Add the onion and sauté until it starts to wilt.
Add the chopped pepperoni and fry a little, then put the garlic and brown it too.
Put the cabbage in strips, salt and pepper to taste and sauté for a few minutes. - Add the beaten cassava mixture to the pan and add a little more of the cooking water.
Add a little more salt if necessary, cook for a few more minutes stirring constantly and the cassava broth is ready.
