Ingredients
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
3 egg yolks
Pinch of salt
2 cups whole milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups heavy whipping cream
3-4 large bananas, sliced
1 box of Nilla Wafers
Directions
- In a pan in a bain-marie, add the sugar;
- Add the flour;
- Add dash of salt;
- Add the egg yolks;
- Add half of the milk;
- Stir;
- Add remainder of the milk;
- Cook for 12-14 minutes (stirring occasionally) until thickened;
- Remove from heat and add 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract;
- Chill in fridge until set;
- In a mixer, add 2 cups of heavy cream;
- Fold the pudding in (do not whisk or beat it);
- Stir;
- In a pan, spread 1/3 of the pudding;
- Add a layer of the nilla wafers;
- Add slices of banana;
- Repeat the process;
- End with the pudding;
- Add crushed nilla wafer;
- Put in the fridge for 4 hours;
- Your Banana Pudding is ready!
