Ingredients
8 to 10 ripe bananas
250 grams of butter or margarine
2 and 1/2 cups of wheat flour
1 and 3/4 cup (tea) of sugar
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1 glass of milk
Cinnamon powder to taste
Directions
- Cut the bananas into 3 slices and set aside.
In a bowl, place the wheat flour, sugar, butter or margarine, the yeast and mix well with sanitized hands, until the farofa is firm when squeezing (or add more butter if needed). - Unite a shape with butter and flour, put a layer of farofa and then a layer of bananas on top.
Make another layer of farofa and another layer of bananas (add milk on top if the bananas are not very ripe, otherwise it is not necessary). - Sprinkle the sweet farofa and cinnamon powder to taste over the dessert and bake for 45 to 60 minutes in a preheated oven at 180º₢.
- Remove the banana cuca from the oven, wait to cool to room temperature and the recipe is ready to serve.
