Ingredients
2 cans of navy beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup ketchup
1/2 cup molasses
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon mustard powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup water
4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled (optional)
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the ketchup, molasses, brown sugar, mustard powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Add the navy beans to the bowl and stir until the beans are coated in the sauce.
- Pour the bean mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Pour the water over the top of the bean mixture.
- If desired, sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top of the beans.
- Bake the beans in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the sauce is thickened and bubbly.
